The weather was cold, the water was cold. Many people were in the water, but none near me. Swimming was refreshing.

I am watching "Smokey and the Bandit" right now.

I should call my friend Sean in Santa Cruz. He would appreciate the fact I'm watching this movie, which Sally Field is in. I wonder if it was before or after "Norma Rae." Before, I hope.
